How to tame curly hair?

Omg i know how you feel my hair is just like this.. it always dries out.. but the back is curly than the front.. So yea.. but i usually put leave-in conditioner for curly hair. They have different type.. im in the process of using kinky-curly, but i haven't wet my hair yet.But just make just you used some gel in the main time. I just straighten my hair now, because i hate how dried my curls get.
