Do You Think Living Organisms More Intelligent Than Human Beings Exist?

The sheer sophistication of the way in which the universe works practically dictates that there are, have been, or will be organisms more intelligent than human beings. Human beings are, in and of themselves, not so intelligent. We do not even let ourselves be cognizant of how our own instincts alter our behavior and make us susceptible to irrational behavior. Xenophobia, for example, is a natural state of existence for human beings, seeing as how we are very dependent on the family and tribal unit for our survival, and anything alien to what is familiar to us is often met with an instinctual urge that ranges from anxiety to sheer resentment. Yet we allow this xenophobic instinct to override what is rational and truthful and allow the emotion to turn into such useless hate-filled things like racism, sexism, and homophobia. I would believe it is not so far-fetched to belief other species in this universe have achieved a state of being able to superimpose their rationality in absolution over their instincts and emotional urges.
