Ideas or suggestion for a good way of fitting a sound instalation on a 98-99 mitsubishi eclipse(convertible)?

Hi everyone, im getting a 1998 or 99 mitsubishi eclipse spyder(convertible) and im really looking foward to installing a sound system, BUT the car doesnt have really helpfull space or dimension in a way i can easly instal atleast a pair or one subwoofers, I was shown an option on putting a woofer in the middle of between backseats (obviously cut and fitted in) but thats something im considering,.. if you could spare some time and ideas Id enormously appretiate it,... thanks and best wishes...
